什麼是青光眼？

青光眼是一種可致盲的眼病。如果在早期被發現，它通常可以治癒。但它通常沒有任何症狀，因此你需要定期檢查眼睛。青光眼最初症狀是眼壓升高。這種壓力會損傷視神經。視神經向大腦傳送訊號，使你可以視物。青光眼有兩種主要類型：開角型和閉角型。

引流域

眼睛一直在產生液體。眼睛的引流域可能會被堵塞。過多的液體留在眼睛裡。這會導致眼壓升高。

視神經

眼睛壓力過高會損傷視神經。如果受損，此視神經就不能將訊息傳送到大腦，你就不能視物。

開角型青光眼

開角型青光眼是一種最常見的青光眼。隨著年齡的增長，它會慢慢發生眼睛的引流域被堵塞。眼睛不能排出足夠的液體，因此眼睛壓力緩慢增加。這導致側（周邊）視力逐漸喪失。在你的大部分視力喪失之前，你甚至可能都沒有註意到變化。

閉角型青光眼

閉角型青光眼不如開角型青光眼常見。它通常很快發作。眼睛的引流域突然被完全堵塞。眼壓迅速增加。你可能會感到視力模糊或燈光周圍有彩虹光暈。你可能還伴有頭痛、噁心、嘔吐和劇烈疼痛等症狀。如果不立即治療，很快就會失明。
