La operación se hace en un edificio grande, que se llama hospital o centro de cirugía. Cuando llegues a ese lugar, pasarán muchas cosas.

Mano de un niño y juguete, ambos con brazaletes de hospital.
Les pondrán una pulsera a ti y a tu juguete. Esa pulsera llevará tu nombre.

Niña con una bata de hospital.
Te pondrás las piyamas del hospital.

Proveedora de atención médica que le toma la temperatura a una niña.
La enfermera te medirá la temperatura.

Una proveedora de atención médica sostiene un estetoscopio sobre la espalda de una niña.
La enfermera o el doctor escucharán los sonidos de tu cuerpo con un estetoscopio.

Proveedora de atención médica que le toma la presión arterial a una niña.
Un manguito te dará un fuerte abrazo en el brazo, para medirte la presión.

Tal vez tengas que tomar una medicina líquida para dormir. La siguiente parada es el quirófano. ¡Es aquí donde te harán la operación!
