Abducción del hombro (flexibilidad)

  1. Párese derecho o recuéstese boca arriba en el suelo con las piernas rectas. Sostenga una escoba frente a usted, de forma horizontal. Con la mano derecha, tome el extremo del palo de la escoba, rodeando la punta con la palma de la mano. Con la mano izquierda con la palma hacia abajo, sostenga el otro lado de la escoba, justo por encima de la parte con cerdas o paja.

  2. Empuje el palo de la escoba hacia la derecha con la mano izquierda, levantando el brazo derecho. Levántelo solo hasta donde pueda hacerlo sin sentir molestias.

  3. Sostenga esa posición por unos segundos. Vuelva a la posición inicial.

  4. Repita el ejercicio entre 3 y 5 veces, o según le indiquen. Aumente gradualmente hasta mantener cada estiramiento 10 a 30 segundos.

  5. Cambie de lado y repita, según lo indicado.

Consejo: Si no tiene una escoba, puede hacer este ejercicio con un bastón, un trapeador o una regla de una yarda.
